I had to wake up early again this morning. I really need to go to bed early tonight and wake up waaaay late tomorrow.

Anyway, I bought the Garden State soundtrack yesterday...and it's my life's soundtrack. I swear. I feel so at peace when I listen to this soundtrack. It's the perfect mix of songs for me. It's happy and mellow and out there and.....lovely. It's wonderful.

Instead of waiting for 10:30 to roll around at Mom's school, I came home to get some Z's before I had to go to my dentist appointment. It obviously didn't work, because I'm sitting at home on the computer typing this out. But I put on my soundtrack and I felt like I had just woken up, and that today was going to be a good day.

That lifted my spirits a whole lot, especially since, when I first woke up this morning, I felt like today was going to be a horrible day and that I really didnt want to wake up because it was 6 AM and I wasn't ready to get up.

Isn't it wonderful what the right music can do for your entire day?
